First Step - Obtaining the Long Term Business Visa/Permit
Applicants need to submit a business plan as part of the process of obtaining their visa or if in New Zealand a Long Term Business Permit.
During the first 9 months the applicant must demonstrate having started certain business commencement actions in order to obtain the 27 months extension. Noel Hewitt Associates LLC can provide advice concerning the proposal.
If your business proposals are accepted you will initially be granted a visa allowing you to enter New Zealand and a 9 month permit. This permit May on application, be extended to a 3 year Long Term Business visa.
Long Term Business Visas need to be obtained by individuals to enter New Zealand. Once landed in New Zealand on this visa the applicant, may obtain a Long Term Business Permit.
Other individuals who are applying for a continuation of their Long Term Business Permit or those applying to change their business plan must also obtain this permit.
Second Step - Obtaining Residency via the Entrepreneur Stream:
The Entrepreneur Residency permit is granted on the submission of proof that you have successfully set up a business in New Zealand meeting the government Immigration requirements.

For both the Investor and the Entrepreneur visa/permits:
You and your accompanying family need to meet English language
Health and character requirements
There are certain requirements such as ownership (at least 25%) meeting business legislation requirements and maintenance of adequate assets and financial accounts for 2 years.
You must also show the business is benefiting New Zealand in some manner.
